Killeen, TX – As of January 12, 2018, the company AT&T announced the addition of 15 new local channels to DIRECTV NOW in the United States. With this new addition, the TV network now holds 250+ channels for our viewing pleasure. The channels added are CBS, Fox, and Univision. These channels will be available to most.
These networks will be available in 40% of US TV households. Local channels will bring us the opportunity to stream news and shows from other states. The addition of these networks will be streaming in 75% of the United States.
With the addition of these channels, we can finally tune into favorites that were not available in our channel subscription. One problem I incurred in my previous subscription was that I did not have all of the channels I wanted to view. At least, the addition of these new affiliate channels will give me a chance to binge my favorite shows.
The year 2018 has become a year of new partnerships between companies. I am impressed with how TV networks are making it a point to provide different local channels to their selections.
This makes watching TV more exciting because I have a chance to explore different channels. Some networks like DIRECTV NOW are getting in a tight race with Hulu that leads with the highest amount of local channels in its repertoire.
It makes me happy to see that DIRECTV NOW has added more local channels. This new move has increased the chances of people subscribing to their network. Almost everyone has watched television.
It’s exciting to see more changes made with our favorite networks. It’s good to see that networks are active in the addition of new channels. With all these new additions, I hope to see more local channels added to their selection.
