Followers of Fox News can mark their calendars regarding the definite debut date of Fox Nation, the news network’s streaming service.
On November 27, 2018, streaming enthusiasts can expect digitally available programming. Fox News officials informed that Fox Nation is for the “superfans” of the news channel who desire more of the network’s content offerings.
However, because of current “contractual agreements with cable operators,” Fox Nation will not be an online platform presenting the Fox News broadcasts.
In February, Fox News announced its agenda of introducing a subscription-based streaming service with “Fox Nation” as per the platform’s given name.
Also, the news network announced the tagline of Fox Nation as “Opinion Done Right” and expressed that it would be an opinion platform.
Original content from Fox Nation would feature major Fox News broadcasters like Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity, and Laura Ingraham.
These anchors will host programs that are exclusive to the streaming service. Brit McHenry and Tomi Lahren will be featured as the young firebrand correspondents.
Aside from regular commentary segments, the original content lineup of the new streaming platform includes a show about President Donald Trump’s family.
Moreover, it would present a documentary series about scandals including the 1969 car crash of Senator Ted Kennedy and Former President Bill Clinton’s impeachment.
Fox News fans can also look forward to watching more of the confirmation hearings of Justice Clarence Thomas.
The press release from Fox News noted that the subscription costing for Fox Nation starts at $5.99 monthly. In one year, it falls to the $64.99 pricing level.
Subscription plans for Fox Nation will be available starting October 28. An exclusive preview of the streaming platform will be broadcasted on that same evening at 8:00 PM, Eastern Time.
Fox Nation facilitates Fox News’s securing of a foothold in the subscription video-on-demand market that major media firms like CBS and HBO have already entered.
