Cinedigm now partnered with Whistle TV for distribution

 Cinedigm made an announcement today, which was about Team Whistle. The announcement was explicitly about distributing the Whistle TV streaming service. Being an OTT Linear and VOD sports and entertainment channel, a lot of their viewers expect original shows and a wide range of content. This content can be from many different studios, networks, and various sports leagues too. Cinedigm plans to work closely with Team Whistle, and there are significant plans to expand Whistle TV’s nationwide distribution. This will be done on AVOD, SVOD, and linear channels. You will also see this on specific connected TVs, digital set-top boxes, streaming devices, and web-based services.

Whistle TV’s four categories:

  • Whistle Originals – Whistle’s premium original programming exclusive to the channel including original series No Days Off, My Hustle, Dunk League and Bad Jokes.
  • Niche Leagues – Full games, matches, and related series serve an underutilized community of engaged fans across a variety of sports. Initial partners include NCAA, Red Bull, World Arm Wrestling, and Glory Kickboxing.
  • Feature Length Movies & Docu-Series – Inspirational sports movies and series from studios, festivals, and distribution companies. Examples include The Modern Game, Wrestling with Life, and Destination Team USA.
  • Premium Influencers – Long-form content from some of the top global sports entertainers, including Dude Perfect, Harlem Globetrotters, F2Freestylers, and more.
