Fubo plans to begin offering a feature that will allow you to keep watching your video as you explore other channels on the site. The feature has been available for a while, but it was only available while watching on the FuboTV app via Apple TV and Roku. FuboTV have also been able to develop a mini player that is “always-onâ€. This basically means that you can minimize the video you’re watching, and have a look at other content on the website at the same time. This is in an attempt to make it feel more like a television experience, where you can do what you need to do whilst leaving your show to play in the background. So far, Fubo have let half of their subscribers test the feature out. If they get positive feedback, they will bring the feature to all users.
Fubo is doing a great job at looking at customer requests and providing the features that will keep them happy and subscribe to the service for a long time. Giving them a Television experience can add a sense of Nostalgia, which is why so many customers have requested such a feature.
Not long ago, FuboTV announced a price rise. Similar to YouTube TV. FuboTV came to the end of 2019 with over 315,000 subscribers and reported an increase of 96% in revenue. This came after merging with FaceBank Group. The growth proves that Fubo are going the right direction, and the FaceBank partnership is clearly working, and turning out to be an excellent decision for both parties.
