In anticipation of the NFL season kickoff today, football fans will be ready for an action packed season. If you are a ROKU user, you have even more reason to be excited. NFL Zone has been announced to return!
This feature was first seen back in early 2023, and allowed fans to enjoy highlights, ad-free streaming and even acces to the NFL app.
Roku’s head of sports Joe Franzetta explained: “For the millions of football fans gearing up for the gridiron season, the NFL Zone offers a one-stop-shop experience that can guide them to NFL games, content and more,” “We look forward to continuing our partnership with the NFL, and we’re proud to present this uniquely designed destination to our streamers for the second year in a row.”
The service ensures a smooth signup process for Roku users, as customers will be able to sign up to NFL+ via Roku Pay and Instant Signup, meaning that you can get ready for the new season in a flash.
Grace Senko, VP of Media Strategy and Business Development at the NFL said “Last year, millions of fans clicked into the NFL Zone to find ways to watch their favorite matchups, must-see highlights, and clips of the 2023-24 season, and now they can do it again,” “We hope to continue to innovate with Roku to grow the NFL presence on the Roku platform.”
Roku Director Of Product For Sport, Drew Adams added: “I think it’s key because the macro trend is pulling things in the opposite direction where it’s just hard to find things,”
”It really comes down to simplifying the streaming journey, right? It’s being complicated by lots of factors. And at the end of the day we want people to be able to look to Roku as just an easy way to stream sports content.”
The first game of the NFL season will kickoff tonight, between the Baltimore Ravens and Kansas City Cheifs. If you are able to sign-up to NFL Zone quick enough, you will be able to enjoy the highlights of the game as soon as possible, with no delays.
