TCLtv+ Releases New Horror Channel Just In Time For Halloween

If you love Halloween, TLCtv+ have a treat for you. The channel will be called TCL Horror, and will be available on Google TV and Roku TV in the United States.

You will have a variety of options available via TCL Horror, including cult classics and even supernatural thrillers You’ll find content such as the Van Helsing series, 13 Nights of Elvira, and also 1980 horror unforgettable classic Prom Night, which stars Jamie Lee Curtis. In addition this this, you’ll find some appearances from names such as Sean Astin, Demi Moore, Al Pacino and Dustin Hoffman.

TCLtv+ was originally available to Google TV customers only, but a July 2024 move saw TCL expand to Roku TV also. Haohong Wang, General Manager of TCL Research America said: “TCL’s partnership with Roku powers the distribution of our vast and growing portfolio of premium content to a new audience,” said

. “TCLtv+ delivers quality programming from some of the most recognizable brands in entertainment while driving value for our marketing partners.”

Roku welcomed TCL with open arms, and Tom McFarland, Vice President of Roku TV said the following: “This new channel is a natural next step in our longstanding partnership with TCL, and we are thrilled to continue collaborating with their team,”

It’s clear to see that TCL are making major efforts to make deals with some big names. Deals have been made with the NFL and Paramount prior to this, which indicates a bright future for the company.

The NFL partnership was bolstered back in March 2024, when Mark Zhang, president, TCL North America said “TCL’s expanded partnership with the NFL enhances the overall fan experience, driven by our leading technology and combined with the immense power of the NFL brand. Our world-class innovation and cutting-edge big screens offer sports fans compelling, immersive content that brings them closer to the action,”

Whilst these channels would only be available to those owning a TCL branded television.  it’s a great perk for TCL TV owners who can now save money and avoid signing up elsewhere.
